GovStar is a registered trademark with the USPTO and owned by Tahoe Internet Corp, a Nevada privately held corporation. 

GovStar is a public service information portal for risk management resources including insurance, emergency and disaster management, plus their associated hazards and risks.  GovStar has operated as an information portal since June 2000 and significantly expanded its emergency and disaster management resources after the World Trade Center attacks of September 11, 2001. 

The mission of GovStar.com is to be the best one-stop information portal for risk management and insurance needs unique to governments and educational entities as well general information to the general public.  GovStar is 100% funded by the shareholders of Tahoe Internet Corp. Our Nevada Resident Agent is Nevada Corporate Headquarters, Inc located at 101 Convention Center Drive, Suite #700 Las Vegas, NV 89106. Tahoe Internet is also registered as a corporation in Texas. We maintain executive office suites at the following addresses for client and partner meetings : 4088 Pirates Beach, Galveston, TX 77554.  Tahoe Internet Corp was incorporated on June 28, 1999.

The GovStar web site is hosted by 4tdomino, a provider of comprehensive application services for e-Business. All of the web page design and development has been done by Tahoe Internet Corp using Lotus Domino and web development tools.
